It could be regarded as astonishing that politicians from the Labour Party, the Green Party and the SNP gave speeches at this event. This is the case given that these parties all support the disgusting trade in the live export of gentle, sentient animals and the brutal, barbaric ritual slaughter of defenceless, innocent creatures. These are the animal abuses of choice of these political parties.
It is not astonishing, of course, because these parties are the great masters of bare-faced hypocrisy.
This hypocrisy should be relentlessly exposed, and this will not be achieved by inviting such hypocrites to engage in empty virtue signalling at such a laudable event.
do the green party?
There was around 200 taking part not 800. You can see this in the photographs and can do a head count. Not doubt the head of One Kind went to the same maths class as Labour’s Diane Abbott.
Sorry Mike, you’re wrong. I know because I was there.
However many turned out they should be proud of themselves for matching for these poor innocent creatures
I was at the event mike, were you? 800 is a much more realistic figure.
And political parties are nade up if individuals just like you and i, who by thw way have their own opinion as im sure you do, mike.
Since none of the photographs show more than a portion of the turnout, Mike, you can’t possibly have done an accurate ‘head count’ based on those. You would have had a better idea if you had been there, but I suspect that you weren’t, given that you only commented in order to sneer.
Mike’s comments exemplifies the ignorance and arrogance of pro blood sport individuals and organisations.
Ignorance, as no one who participated in this march (as I did), would suggest that any of the single photographs gives a true measure of the number of people demonstrating.
Arrogance, as no right thinking person would want to make a public comment without knowing the facts. Mike, as someone who was clearly not present, has the arrogance to tell those that were, what the size of the crowd was!
Furthermore, instead of taking the opportunity here to justify dogs ripping a live fox apart, he chose to take a ‘drive by’ shot at One Kind and Diane Abbot.
Well Mike it’s YOUR maths that’s wrong here: you only counted 25% of those present and if you agree with fox hunting then your ethics are 25 years behind the times.
I love foxes and many years ago when I was in England for a holiday and before there was a ban on fox hunting I had a letter published in a British newspaper condemning fox hunting. Eventually the ban came in but there are still people today that want to lift it. Fox hunters are and always will be, cruel sadists with a lust for blood. An enforced ban will always be needed to give foxes the protection they so deserve!
