The Inspiring Volunteer Awards are dedicated to volunteers who give their time, energy and commitment to causes and people around Edinburgh. Now on it’s 13th year, this ceremony recognises volunteers from all walks of life, have a whole range of skills and abilities, and make their impact in a huge variety of ways.
We couldn’t have been happier to learn that our very own OneKind volunteer Steph Rose was chosen to receive award this week. Steph is a committed Copywriter and Research volunteer for our sister site OneKind Planet. She’s also contributed to our ‘Meet our volunteers‘ blog post series; hoping to shed a little more light on what our volunteers behind the scenes get up to. Here’s what we told Volunteer Edinburgh:
Stephanie ensures that the cogs behind OneKind are always turning – and that is truly invaluable. Her work ensures that we are always fundraising behind the scenes, in a manner that is not always recognised. Stephanie has volunteered every Friday for almost a year now. Steph has shown time and time again that the work she delivers is thoroughly researched and written without error. As a volunteer herself, she understands how to integrate other office volunteers into the team – this has been truly beneficial”.
We’d like to thank Steph for all the inspiring work she does for our charity and hope to see her in the office for a long time to come!
